The Internet is blowing up today about the article posted in the NYPost last night about the possibility of Teen Mom 2 being cancelled due to Jenelle being Jenelle.
My biggest question is, what took them so long?
I’m going to say it, Teen Mom 2 has probably the worst cast of people you could possibly want for a show that is supposed to create awareness about teenage pregnancy. Jenelle is an obvious wreck, but is she the only reason the show has gone down the tubes? Not by a long shot.
There is only one mother there who represents a strong, independent woman who is trying to lead the best life possible for her child, and that is Kailyn. While Chelsea and Leah also appear to be good mothers, they are pretty terrible role models. One is a spoiled “daddys girl” who is brutally obsessed with the father of her child, to a point where it’s pathetic to watch. The other is a girl who has been pregnant 3 times (sadly one miscarried), married twice and is about to have 3 kids before the age of 21. In addition, she sends out messages like government assistance is bad, despite clearly being a candidate if not for the Teen Mom 2 lottery she won. (It is debatable if she meets and marries Jeremy – who now supports her – if she isn’t on the show)
I know Jenelle is allegedly the reason Teen Mom 2 may not return after their filmed fourth season, and people probably want me to tear into her because of it, but I’m not going to. Why? Because there is no need. Everyone knows she is a terrible role model, and was cast as a ratings grab for the series. She did her job as Teen Mom 2 is one of the highest rated shows on the network, so it’s only natural she’d also be the scapegoat when the show collapses in on itself.
If it’s true that Teen Mom 2 won’t return after season 4, it won’t be solely on Jenelle’s shoulders. It won’t even be on the dull rest of the cast. It will be the same reason that Jersey Shore and Teen Mom 1 ended. The problems the cast give the network become less worth the reward when that cast starts demanding more money. The network that became filthy rich off of shows like Jackass is not going to suddenly take a moral high ground because one of the cast members became a literal “teen mom junky”.
They could just as easily scrap Jenelle and make the show about the 3 remaining moms, but are the same amount of people going to tune in to watch Chelsea cry over her ex-boyfriend, Leah on marriage #5 and baby #8 or Kailyn doing exciting things like taking Isaac for his first haircut? It’s either keep Jenelle and the headaches she brings, or scrap the entire show. I highly doubt there is a 3rd option on the table.

You nailed it! Janelle is a train wreck, Chelsea is FULLY pathetic and whiny, and Leah will be on husband #3 before too long. She has become so incredibly fake. Teen Mom 2 saved her, but she still needs to act like a normal mom. Not a barbie doll. Kai is the only one that seems like she really wants what’s best for her son. Yes, she’s on the boring side, but she does what she needs to and doesn’t glamourize it. I respect her for being boring and a good mother.
The reason Kail and Jo are boring is because they’re both mentally stable. They are both there for each other and always come out on the positive when all is said and done. They’re not afraid to admit that they have faults and that sometimes the other person is right in the end. It isn’t a power struggle with them, it’s just genuinely what is best for Isaac. Over 3 years they’ve actually made progress as a co-parenting unit. I can honestly not say the same for any other person they’ve featured on the show. Every single other girl has regressed over the last 3 years when it comes to maturity. For what all of them lost in maturity, they made up for in entitlement though.
Ita. Although Kailyn appears to be the only mom on Teen Mom2 to be on the right path…She has her issues too. I see her as a user of men. She has been known to use men like she did with Joe and Jordan until she gets what she wants out of them. Then throws them away. Then she expects them to understand. A couple good sessions with a Therapist might do her some good.
Thank you finally someone said it not just Jenelle it’s Leah to both have made terrible decisions on and off the show. Chelsea might be spoiled and annoying but I would take her over jenelle and Leah any day Chelsea and kail are the ones in teen mom 2 series that are the ones I can honestly said I like. The only reason why mtv is acting like they care is because it will affect their bottom line money and ratings. They should of kick jenelle off the show along time ago and Leah to both of them are the worst in the teen mom 2 series before I use to think Leah had some brain but not after last episode she hot mess too mtv should keep this a one season series .
I was pretty taken aback by Leah’s comments about wanting to get pregnant again so quickly. Then I realized she’s a teenager and that’s the erratic mindset of any teenager, “mature mom” or not. Good riddance to the show. It was successful for MTV, but where is the line between doing it for money and acting on what’s morally right? These girls (namely Leah, Amber, Jenelle) need help and as long as they’re getting attention for acting the way that they do, they will continue to see their short-comings as “entertainment” and not as they are – serious problems that require time and professional help to fix.

I disageree that these are the “worst” people for a show trying to create an awareness about teen pregnancy and teen moms. The whole point of the show is to show how hard raising a child is when you are a teenager and this show, and Jenelle in particular prove that just having money isn’t enough to keep anyone safe from all the problems teen pregnancy brings. If it showed teen moms who were great role models and had their stuff together and were just great moms then it would be spreading the idea that having a kid at such a young age is fine. But I think that these girls prove pretty clearly that no matter how much money you have, kids are not ready to be parents and make good decisions.
I’m not saying you’re wrong, because you make sense, but you’re missing the big picture here. It’s become more than “bad decision making.” Jenelle has a serious mental illness on top of an addition disorder and being on the show clearly perpetuates this behavior. She needs help and MTV is pretty much two steps back for her since not only are they not getting her this help, but they’re paying her to act the way that she does. If this was the “true struggle of a teen mom” she would not be able to afford the lifestyle she’s been leading that allows these behaviors to continue. Amber suffers similarly, and we witnessed her downward spiral until she hit rock bottom with a suicide attempt. At some point it becomes more than a paycheck and entertainment value. These girls should have their whole lives ahead of them, but sadly some of them aren’t really “living.”
I agree. In Amber’s case especially she seemed like she was willing to take responsibility, tried to make her relationship with the baby’s father work, etc. Then mtv’s influence on her mental state eroded her self control. In Jenelle’s case, she talked a good game and might have pulled herself out of a tailspin if not for Rieffer and MTV.
The only decent teen mom to come out of both seasons on Teen Mom 1&2 is Caitlyn… Between the boob jobs, jail visits, divorces, getting knocked up again, and dropping out of school. These “teen moms” are horrible role models.
If there is a god… He would order MTV to cancel the show entirely.

I would like to put my oar in here and say that if I had the money for it, I would get a boob job and a nose job. I just would. I don’t think getting cosmetic surgery in and of itself is a bad thing, I kind of just feel like it is what it is, some people are more vain than others and more conscious of things they don’t like about themselves (guilty and guilty). Then again, I don’t have a kid.
I agree that the girls should treat themselves to something they want like a new car, new boobs, clothes, trips. However, the issue I have with the way they spend their money is that the girls spend so much on frivolous items, but they don’t invest anything in their future. None of them with the exception of Farrah and maybe Kailyn (I can’t remember whether she finished school or not) have an associates degree, and none of the girls have a bachelor’s or are even close to getting one. I don’t know about you, but after I got my boobs done, I would send myself to college! That’s why they are terrible role models.
PLEASE. All women, please, do not get boob jobs. All breasts look less appealing after a boob job than they did before the work. Boob jobs are a joke that is easy to do on TV – on TV, all guys can read lines and act like they are impressed with breast enhancement surgery. In real life, guys are creeped out by them. Men like all breasts, regardless of size, and there is no reason to distort and alter something that is already attractive. IF you asked real guys in reality about what they thin of boob jobs, the vast majority would say that they are never an improvement. Of course, there are a few males in the minority who think they are great, and that is okay, but by far the majority of men think that they are at least unnecessary and at most disfiguring.
I have a real problem with your advice hinging on the fact that “men won’t find your breasts as attractive”. I could not give two shits what Men as an entity think of my hypothetical fake breasts. If I took the step of getting surgery it wouldn’t be to appeal to random men that I’ve never even met, are you insane? I’d be doing it because it’s something that I want to do, for myself. Sorry, but if I want plastic surgery I’ll get it, and I definitely won’t be crying myself to sleep because men all over the world have automatically written me off. This comment was reminiscent of one ages ago where somebody said, “Maci will never find a nice man with those tattoos.” I’m betting that she doesn’t get tattoos to find a “nice man”, she gets them because she wants them. I honestly take real offence to the assumption that any and everything women to is ultimately to please and benefit men.
As a nurse I would just like to remind girls that breast implants need replaced more then a few times over a lifetime. It is multiple surgeries with risks, as well as the complications that can happen from the implants themselves over time. They can also make cancer harder to discover, complicate mammograms and some women are unable to breastfeed because of them. Of course many have no trouble, but these are possibilities. Just FYI, no judgement whatsoever
LOL, I totally saw this coming just after Jenelle announced her pregnancy. I never believed she was really pregnant, leave alone this baby being actually born. She’s just terrible and I think she’ll hit the “rock bottom” (Farrah should make another song about it! Naaahh, I’m just teasing you, all the people who can hear) right after MTV money stops coming. She can sell another fake stories to tabloids (Jenelle Evans pregnant with the Devil’s baby, Jenelle Evans having an affair with Hulk Hogan, Jenelle Evans getting a tattoo of Courtland Rogers’ penis on her forehead), but nobody will ever believe her again. She’s the perfect example how NOT to live. I don’t admire Chelsea and her adamitis disease, I don’t like Leah and her pregnancies, but Jenelle is the worst TV personality EVER.

Steve said it right in the second last paragraph… the show will come to an end for a number of factors. It’s not solely on Jenelle. I think that NY post is just exaggerated and starting drama.
The original Teen Mom ended after season 4, won’t be a surprise if Teen Mom 2 does the same thing. The show ran it’s course. When the “Teen” part of the title isn’t even accurate of the cast anymore, it’s time to move on.
I think even 4 seasons of this show is too many. Don’t get me wrong, I love watching it, but what have these girls accomplished in 4 seasons? All MTV has done is give these girls way too much money which has kept them from making good decisions. For example: Maci still hasn’t completed her associates, Jenelle has spent more time in jail then with Jace, Leah will have 3 kids and two husbands before she can legally have a beer, and Chelsea is 20 and still doesn’t have her GED. This show should be no more than two seasons. It’s the same thing over and over again after the second season. If we really want to see what it’s like to be a “struggling teen mom,” then MTV should have paid the moms a little more than minimum wage to film them and given the big bucks to the kids in a tryst that would be available to them when they’re 18.
Yeah I think the show has ran it’s course. I quit watching 16 & pregnant and have no desire for teen mom 3. With all the tattoos, boob jobs, brand new cars, moving constantly to nicer homes, Victoria secret clothes, fake hair and nails I think we know these aren’t struggling teen moms. I just hope these moms put back something for their children and didn’t waste it all on material things.
it’s true. i mean i have a victoria’s secret hoodie and tattoos, but all my tattoos i had before i was pregnant, i also get my nails done, but the difference is i work. i have the extra money to treat myself. i think the moving thing is ridiculous. didn’t leah, kail and chelsea all move in one episode with jenelle moving the week before?
Yeah I do as well. But like you mentioned we work. I was a teen mom and believe me when I was 17 the last thing on my mind was tattoos and boob jobs. It was supporting my baby. That’s why so many people complain about this show it no longer shows those struggles. The only struggle I can remember on the teen mom series was when Corey and Leah couldn’t buy paint. Such a struggle!! Lol
i know right. i wish they showed more about ali’s health. i know it’s very personal, but they put it out there at the beginning and not once since season 1 have we really hard anything about how ali is doing and i’m not trying to be mean but it is obvious she is developmentally delayed. teen mom could have gone in such a different direction, but mtv took the petty route. so frustrating.
Hopefully MTV does pay the children something. They probably put money into trustfunds for when they get older. It’s probably no where near what the moms get because in my eyes the stars of the show should be the kids.
I read somewhere awhile back that MTV had different provisions with the TM3 girls. I heard they wouldn’t get much money until its over and they can’t get plastic surgeries etc. I don’t know how much of it is true but hopefully MTV may at least try and improve the show with TM3

I’m over the show. Half the time I dvr it and dont watch it or only half pay attention. I would like to see MTV do a show about teens who give their babies up for adoption so we can cut down the abortion rate. To each their own on abortions, not trying to cause drama, but I think they would happen less often if adoption was more glorified and these young girls had access to those resources!
Jenelle, IMO, is the reason the show has lasted as long as it has. Let’s face it, the girl is a train wreck, and people just can’t stand not to watch. Without Jenelle this show would be Zzzz worthy.
They may cancel this show but another trashy series with equally trainwreck-worthy stars will take its place. Thus is the cycle of reality television.
buckwild anyone? personally i don’t have any problems with shows like buckwild and jersey shore. none of the cast had kids at the time and from what i can tell snooki has turned out to be a pretty good mother. the concept of buckwild and jersey shore is young people having a good time and living life. it is not about navigating the ups and downs of teenage parenthood. while buckwild and jersey shore is REALLY stupid, it’s supposed to be. no one who watches those shows is holding the cast members to a higher standard like we do the teen mom girls. i think the show should go away for everyone’s sake. however i think the damage is done unfortunately for leah and jenelle at least.
You have a pretty good point. At least those shows don’t purport themselves to be anything more than mindless entertainment, while Teen Mom still pretends that it realistically conveys how hard teenage motherhood is.

Jenelle is a reminder that if you do bad in your life you will get money, fame and opportunities from MTV, your kid will be watched by your mom and you’ll still have a handful of at-least-quasi-men interested in you. Dunno if that’s so great. I’m out here doing this on my own, having to earn my keep, my family is passed away and I actually watch/love and care for my own kid and still no men are asking for my digits. No, Jenelle is not that helpful an image for young women to see or for me for that matter. It is frustrating, actually.

I think the point Salome is trying to make is that when you’re a single mother, especially if you’re a teen, it’s difficult to find a guy who’s interested in you. Most guys in that age range simply aren’t ready to date a woman with a child, for starters, and for a single mom with no familial support, opportunities to meet men, let alone good ones, must be few and far between.
Jenelle’s life has nothing to do with Salome not getting a date. Dating is, however, more difficult for Salome than it is for Jenelle because Salome likely spends a lot of her time working and all of her remaining time taking care of her kid: two things that Jenelle doesn’t really do much of, yet she continues to get paid by MTV for screwing up.

I’ve known lots of Jenelle-like losers and as hard as it is to watch there are plenty of young women living just like her who are not on TV. They pop out a kid, someone in the family takes the child to raise it, or CPS takes the kid away, and then it’s party on. They get high, they drink, they lie, cheat, steal, end up in jail, on probation, and they are getting laid constantly. There are plenty of losers looking to ‘date’ these girls because they like to party and have no rules. So in many ways, Jenelle’s over the top lifestyle is just as true as Kail’s goody two shoes lifestyle.
Not sure what my point was other than losers beget losers. Don’t be jealous that you don’t have some loser guy mooching off of you and abusing you or your children.

this show is a terrible example of a real world teen mom!!!!!!! i don’t know of one teen mom that gets to eat out all the time, go to the spa to talk….., get there hair or nails done…., people get real!!!!!!!! real teen moms are trying to figure out where their next pack of diapers are going to come from and who is going to give them a ride… for that matter!!!!!! real teen moms are living with there parents and going to school, not sitting there ass at a rented condo for 3 years trying to get a GED! this show makes me sick!!!! Teen Mom you have gone way of track about the show!!!!!!!!! Kailyn is the only example of a good teen mom A REAL TEEN MOM! Teen Mom need to show how the kids are crying all night, being sick, crapping up there back, causing the teen to NOT get to go to a party cuz they can’t find a baby sitter, throwing tantrums at walmart, how many diapers the teen parent changed that day, bath time, reading the child a book!!!, sitting at the table feeding the child while you are hungry yourself, making the child a healthy meal, showing the world what real everyday life is with the child!!!!! I agree. When Kail and Jo took Isaac to get his first haircut, everyone was all, “Dude, that’s so boring!” but I think it’s things like that the show should focus on. You’d think a show called Teen MOM would focus a little less on drama and more on actual parenting.
Another thing a commenter on one of these Teen Mom blogs mentioned a while back is the fact that when you have a child, everything you do is a huge production. You can’t make a quick trip to the store anymore– there’s a lot of prep-work you have to do before you leave the house with your baby. THAT is what should be shown on the show. Show young people that raising a kid takes a lot of work and responsibility, and the focus is always on the kid and not the parent. The problem with the Teen Mom franchise is that it focuses way too much on the parent and not so much on the parenting!
I think everyone should shutup and leave the show alone its a good show and it does show how single moms struggle being moms so leave the show alone if it gets cancelled no one will watch that channel much at all I know I will not.

I wish that MTV would do a “Teen Mom” anthology and feature different teen moms every season, so we wouldn’t have to see how money has changed them. Or have to deal with people like Jenelle for too long.But then, I think girls would get pregnant on purpose to be on the show. Lose lose situation I guess.
I have a love/hate relationship with Leah. I love her until I watch her on TM2. She is the queen of horrible decisions.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t she say last January that her IUD slipped and she got pregnant (with the miscarriage). On the show she acted like that pregnancy was on purpose.
Really? “Ordinary” teens PLAN to have babies out of wedlock?
My best friend’s older sister met her boyfriend and they dated on and off starting when she was 12. The PLANNED to get pregnant with their daughter when she was 17. Now, almost 4 years later, they aren’t together and he has another child with his current girlfriend…so yes, ordinary teens do plan to get pregnant occasionally.
If they do cancel the show (which I think is something being blown out of proportion) it will be a little too late. They’ve already worn the franchise thin and yet they’re still trying to flog a dead horse with the Teen Mom 3.
Since series 2 of Teen Mom they’ve lost all sense of perspective on the show. It’s supposed to be about the struggles about being a Teen Mom but yet most of it has been about the dramas and relationships that have been going on. People could argue and say that the dramas come with the children– but most of them haven’t.
Jenelle’s breakdown is nothing to do with Jace; it’s because she has an underlying psychological issue that hasn’t been addressed. Meanwhile the dramas in Chelsea’s life always revolve around Adam. Maci’s conflicts/struggles have always been around her and the latest guy she’s brought home and the who Ryan has been dating. Yeah, there’s the odd occassion where we have seen the struggle with being a Teen Mom but normally those are the ‘boring’ episodes or have the ‘boring’ Moms in (I mean, Kailyn seemed to be the only one genuinely struggling in season 2 of Teen Mom 2 for finances with Isaac as well as problems for visitation ect which are genuine single Mom struggles).
The rest of the time they are just following general teen drama and we’re watching these poor children getting subjected to that.
True enough Kailyn struggled financially for a few minutes before she received her MTV check. But her real struggle is how to go through a period of her life without being in a relationship with a man. But. It’s too late now because she quickly married Javi once Jordan and Joe moved on. I hope she feels complete now, because Javi appears to be a balanced and nice guy.

About damn time, this show has turned into a total train wreck. We already know what’s going to happen, because the girls are so enthusiastic about telling us about their lives via social networking. I just watch to see the children honestly,they’re so cute. I hope tm3 goes in a different direction, and MTV please get these girls off social networks. I feel like I already know everything that’s going to happen, and that is no fun

when i looked at some of the tm3 girls twitters there’s nothing really jaw dropping going on. except mackenzie announced her engagement about two weeks ago. but we already knew from 16&preg her and her boyfriend were headed down that route.
also briana deleted a lot of pictures she used to have up of her and nova so maybe mtv did put some provisions into the contract.
It would be smart if MTV aired the episode soon after filming them. They aired the first season of Teen Mom 1 only after a few months of filming and season 2 was like 6 months later.
Mackenzie has Gotten engaged, gotten unenvaged, gotten re engaged lol, now she’s going to be married in three months because josh joined the military and now they’re moving to San Diego….if that’s not giving away her entire story line, idk what is. Oh and she’s also still cheering on a team.
It’s just like, why even watch?! I already know the general picture even if we dont know all the details…it just bugs me, I wish MTV would make these girls stop! Hopefully they’re getting stricter like what you said about Brianna…
I’m pretty sure there must be something in their contract. If you remember when Leah announced her second pregnancy she never gave an interview. Jeremy and I think his grandma had quotes all over the place. She never actually confirmed it. Same with her miscarriage. It was from sources close to her.
I’m definitely over this show. The first season of the original season showed actually issues (I believe financial, if I remember correctly) but now it’s all scripted bs. All the girls do in their free time is take trips to Vegas, post their latest shopping purchases and aside from Kail, not work. After Jenelle’s pregnancy announcement I haven’t watched and don’t think I will anymore.

The 16 and pregnant where are they now is going to be pretty late to. They normally do it about a year later and all the kids are about 1.5 now.
Wow, nice judging on Leah. Welfare IS bad! It’s horribly abused, and it should only be temporary, not the whole lifestyle it is for so many currently. Food stamps have gone up so much under our current President. But Leah’s a hypocrite because she didn’t have a lot of money outside of her MTV gigs? I don’t think so.
I work at a food stamp office. Leah reminds me of so many of my clients who are getting the maximum amount of benefits because they have several children and no income whatsoever but make fun of people on food stamps. “I’m not like the other people. I plan to get a job.” So many people of food stamps do not agree with them and think poorly of people who receive them.
Leah is too uneducated to even understand a debate on social services. I have zero doubts that were it not for MTV she’d be first in line at the welfare and food stamp offices with a baby on her hip and several others trotting along behind her.

I have not counted actual minutes, but it seems to me that on this season Jace has only been w/JE w/out babs so far on the horrifying puppet show and pumpkin patch..the other girls, well Kail and Chelsea are always seen w/their kids
Sorry off topic but…Kailyn was interviewed about the upcoming season. She stated some horrible things went down with her and Javi. She said it was all her fault and that she is massively humiliated by her own actions. She says she apologizes in advance to all his family and the viewers for what happened. Kail states it prompted her to seek medical help. I guess she was evaluated and states she was diagnosed bi-polar. She said her mom is also bi-polar, which may explain some things.
I am proud of her for sharing this news. Mental illness is very common but so rarely discussed. We have to talk about it so people are NOT ashamed and they feel good about getting help. We must get rid of the stigma. People truly suffer with mental illness, depression, anxiety etc. Let’s not have them suffer in silence. I think the younger generation is doing far more about removing the stigma than my generation. Please encourage your friends and loved ones to reach out and talk to you. Create a safe environment for them to confide in you. If you are not sure what to do to help them, google ‘getting help with mental illness in —–(your area). If you yourself are suffering and feel embarrassed or ashamed, it is OKAY. Just take the very first step and talk to a trusted friend or family member. Teen suicides are so high, please help each other. There is help out there, even if you think you cannot afford it, there are free clinics. There are also confidential, free phone numbers where trained staff will talk to you. Reach out for help because you are not alone, there IS help.

I am a nurse in newborn intensive care. I have been unable to work lately due to a serious illness. I have always had a great connection with the many teen moms who have sick babies. This is why I started watching the show and reading this blog. Honestly the blog is where the truth is shared which is awesome. You guys share real stories of struggle and support one another. I try to post my advice whenever it is relevant. I have gained so much experience. I so not want to let it sit wasting away as I try to recover. I hope that even if one person gets help from my advice, it would mean I was still, in a tiny way, able to nurse.

On the one hand you are very right but on the other you’re not. Yes, mental illness is very very real and needs to be addressed but on the other people nowadays seem to be obsessed with it and blame EVERYTHING on it. I’m really glad Kail came out and said she is bi polar so that maybe people will quit saying OMG It’s not Jenelles fault cause she’s bi polar. I can’t tell you how many people think they can just blame bad behavior on bi polar or depression or ADD. PLUS people are trying to diagnose every kid in the world with something. My friend had her 1.5 year old diagnosed with AUTISM because she wasn’t talking as well as some other kids her age. it’s absolutely outrageous.
I was going to write something about how much I admire all of my friends who see therapists for mental health issues, because they view their issues as obstacles to overcome rather than excuses for acting however they want to. Then I realized that, while I’ve been struggling with depression for the past year or so, I’ve also liberally used it as an excuse to be… well, not the best person. If I’m going to judge people for, say, blaming Jenelle’s ridiculous actions on her mental illness instead of her, then I have to stop saying things like, “I did/didn’t do _____ because I was depressed” and start taking personal responsibility for my situation and my feelings. Your comment gave me the kick in the pants I needed to start making real positive changes in my life. Thank you, random internet person!

The gigantic cluster f**k called Teen Mom has renewed and deepened my trememdous love and respect for my own daughter, She has always been a responsible, motivated, and near perfect daughter! She will be graduating college a semester early-the result of working hard, carrying 18 hrs and even managing to work a few hours as a tutor. I am so proud of her-never have lost sleep over my daughter, never left ashamed or disappointed. Teem Mom reminds me that I am one very lucky and blessed mom. My daughter is an awesome person!
So we have all come to the conclusion that Jenelle and Courtland are insane junkies who don’t need to be around children, and I can’t agree more.
While doing some snooping online (her life entertains me, what can I say?) I saw a post Taylor made about her 19th birthday being on 11/25/2012… Does anyone know when Jordan was born? I know she’s at least a year old, but even if she turned one two days ago, Taylor would have been 6 months pregnant by the time she turned 18 (someone correct me if I’m doing math wrong)
HOW is it that Courtland is not in prison on felony rape charges? He is 27 fucking years old! That’s digusting! Even two years ago he would have been 25 and Taylor 17, that’s an EIGHT year age difference! No matter what “age of consent” laws North Carolina has I’m pretty sure EIGHT YEARS is too excessive of an age difference for him knocking up a minor to be legal. Not only that but it makes me wonder if she was the only minor he was involved with.
Ugh.
