First off, I know I’m a slacker. I didn’t live tweet Teen Mom this week, and this is my first post since Jenelle announced Courtland’s sperm somehow penetrated her body. In addition to being extremely bored with this season of Teen Mom 2, the little one has the flu and taking care of her was more important than watching Teen Mom 2. However, if you want a recap, I’m going to guess it was more of this:
- Chelsea embarrasses herself over Adam, goes to her fathers house to get lectured about how dumb she’s acting, and tries for her GED.
- Kailyn tells anyone who listens about her Texas trip and how she wants to move there. People look at her like they look at me every time I say I want to move to Florida when it’s cold out. They know it’s not going to happen and it’s just a pipe dream.
- Leah continues to re-create her first moments with Jeremy for MTV. Maybe in some scenes she can remove her wedding band that he already gave her by then?
- Jenelle is Jenelle
And speaking of Jenelle, that’s what this story is about. Her past few days have been very interesting, just as her past month really. She got married just over a month ago, and most of the people predicted the marriage wouldn’t even last as long as Kim Kardashian’s marriages. Then she announced she was pregnant only weeks after Courtland was over the moon about her “visit to the shrink”.
Well, as in the life of Jenelle, if you blink, you may miss something major, and that’s almost what I did this week with our daughter being sick. From what I’m gathering, Jenelle went to the hospital yet again, and it was possibly related to something Courtland did. Jenelle won’t confirm nor deny he did anything physical, which allows everyone to just speculate he beat her. Of course, she has been shown to be a pathological liar over the years, so I’m not going to jump on that bandwagon unless he’s arrested over it.
However, what she did also confess to was that Courtland is not a loyal boyfriend and tries to have sex with anyone he speaks with. Again, coming from Jenelle, you always have to take it with a grain of salt, but this one wouldn’t shock me. She did post a picture of an envelope with a bunch of girls names on it, with one labeled “DTF”. For privacy reasons, I won’t link to it, but it’s on her twitter and easy to find. Does that mean he cheated? Hard to say, she claims it’s his handwriting, and honestly he probably did. Neither of them seem like people of high character, so it wouldn’t shock me if they were both getting pieces on the side.
Courtland did tweet that he never did anything to hurt his wife, and apparently he is in poor health so he was doing things like visiting his friends grave before he went. Jenelle posted that he is fine and just scared to come back to town. So is Courtland dying? Did he beat her? Does anyone really care?

Okay…that was a fake miscarriage/pregnancy then. Because I had a miscarriage before and there is no way she would be partying after one…with your mental state, much less physical state, especially with all the blood she was supposedly losing and she was on the verge of passing out so she actually went to the hospital. There wouldn’t be that much blood other than a heavy period flow. She also would be put on meds that she shouldn’t be drinking alcohol with. TMI I know, but it just shows she’s such a horrible liar.
Yeah this definitely says “publicity stunt” all over it. I could almost not be surprised though that if she really DID have a miscarriage that she is out of her mind enough to go party afterwards anyway. Still though, this definitely seems like just attention ploys. So sad. So sick.
Well that’s one way to mourn. She is “very upset” according to her official FB. Gary said she had surgery, I assume he meant a D&C, if that were so there is no fucking way she would feel well enough to go dance around at the bar and get drunk.
Couldn’t you just see Courtland or Duffy showing up at the bar tonight, seeing as they advertised where they were going to be?

Oh I know!! And then she was like “so I can do his laundry”. Why did she even need to say that??? But Corey put her on blast about never doing his laundry. You would think it was the least she could do since he took care of them and she cheated!! She drives me crazy!!
OMG I loved the converstation with Corey when she told him about living with Jeremy. I was rolling on the floor laughing so hard. That’s probably the most REAL thing we have seen on TM2. I love how honest he was.
Oh yea did anyone else notice Jenelle’s broken arm? I’m not sure if it was in last weeks episode but it also looked like Amber had a huge bruise on her face. Hmmm I wonder what happened?

Grrr.. I forgot to add that she’s using her kids as a convenient excuse to drop out of college and be lazy. Immediately after she unpacked her bags with Jeremy, “Oh I’m going to drop my classes… cuz I’m already so behind. I don’t have time to do any homework!” How damn convenient Leah… shack up with a rich guy and now all of a sudden you “don’t have time”. Puke.. her motives are so transparent.

I agree!!! I have two boys and have been in college since they were babies. And work full time. These girls have it made. I don’t get why they don’t take advantage and get their education while they don’t work!! She quit because of Ali??? Please!! I agree with you and think she quit since she can now be taken care of.
I agree! The “I quit because of Ali” excuse was so ridiculous – it’s because of Ali (and Aleve, or whatever the hell her name is) that she SHOULDN’T quit – not only for the obvious career and $$$ when she’s finished with school, but also to provide an excellent example to her daughters of the importance of education and perseverance to achieve goals. But then again who am I kidding? We’re talking about Leah, the woman who claims she’ll never have to work another day in her life because she’ll be married “pretty much forever” to Mr. Pipeline. Apparently people don’t divorce, lose jobs, become disabled or lose spouses in WV!
The look on Jeremy’s was priceless! He even looked like “wtf?!” I bet she was Preggo with the first baby at that point and that’s why he did y say Seeya slacker! I am a stay at home mom BUT when I was a single mom to my now 11 year old I graduated a semester early from high school the next week began beauty school and after that lived on my own and worked! My daughter was 4 before I met my now husband and I did not imediantly decide he would be my sugar daddy! I worked until I gave birth to my now 2 1/2 year old then we both decided I would be better as a stay at home mom..

Totally agree! Leah is such dumb a$$! She quit her job at the dentist office because she couldn’t keep up with Ali’s appointments, then 5 minutes after she moves in with Jeremy she quits school because, according to her, she has a home now that she has to clean? WTF? So, she was unable to hold down a job or go to school because of having kids, but now she is adding yet another child to the mix? If she didn’t have money coming in from the show or a man to support her then I can almost guarantee that she would be living off of government assistance. It makes me sick to my stomach just looking at her! She started out being a good mother, and she’s still not a “bad” mom, but she has made some really bad life changing decisions.
Maybe it’s for the best that she dropped out of school. I don’t know about you, but if I was in hospital I know that I would not be happy about Leah being my nurse. Can you fucking imagine? “Oh hey y’all, wow are you sick?”

I literally laughed out loud a few episodes ago when she was wondering if there was a test for nursing school.
Really though, it kind of irks me that even though she failed the entrance exam, the school let her in and even gave her a scholarship, and then she quit really soon after school started. I wonder what kind of bright, intelligent, hard-working student got rejected by the school so they could let Leah in. And before anyone says anything, yes, there are a lot of very intelligent people in West Virginia, but sadly they’re rarely given any time in the spotlight.
I agree!! They should have required her to study and take it again and PASS it to get in. Then maybe she would have stayed since she would’ve actually had to put in some effort to get into the college,
I wonder if Courtland is going to get alimony, and if he even gets 50% custody of this supposive child, will he also get child support?
Jenelle totally abuses the legal and medical system. What a waste of resources. She has filed charges against Courtland now, and we all know the trip to the hospital was just for appearances/pity.
Jenelle needs to do what is best and promise the world she will choose adoption for the child, and then sterilize herself.
What I found interesting was that one of the charges was for battery of an unborn child. I sincerely don’t believe that she’s really pregnant so telling the police that she was qualifies as lying to the cops. So either she really is pregnant, which would be awful, or she lied to the police, which is illegal.

I am beginning to think that maybe this country needs to take measures on dumbasses that get knocked up with children they can not support.
When a woman becomes preg, they should have to prove they are mentally, physically, emotionally, and financially able to support the child. If they are unable to do so before the birth of the child, the child should immediatly be taken and placed in a home which CAN provide for the child. Then a 5 year ‘sentence’ should be imposed on the imbecile that got knocked up. (5 years of either an IUD, or implant or other bc method which is semi-permanent. The pill would not qualify.)
IF the woman pre-emptively chooses adoption, as she admits this is best for the child, then that sentence (of n ot being able to pro-create) would be reduced to 2 or 3 years or whatever.
If the woman gets knocked up again after being allowed off manditory BC, and she is still unable to provide for the child, then the sentence is increased. A third offence means automatic sterilization.
Let’s end the cycle of dumbasses that can not provide, and end up draining the system… Let’s end the cycle of kids spending 3 to 5 years in foster care, and then having permanent damage and not being able to be adopted. Let’s end women giving birth to 13 children, and not being able to parent any of them… (Some of which have FAS = permanent brain damage!).

so now you’re saying birth mothers would be sentenced to the same punishment? low-income, troubled mothers who give their children up for adoption should be rewarded. i see comments on this blog all of the time about what a shame it is that respectable people can’t reproduce – so we should punish the people that give them babies?
what about getting pregnant while using condoms and birth control (which has been documented to occur)? what about people like me, who became pregnant by a man with a vasectomy that reversed itself? the odds of that happening are infinitesimally low, and yet it happens to a few unlucky women. should i be punished for being a completely broke student who got pregnant against the odds of science?

This is my first time in the comments section but if we’re wondering who watches these “wacky teen moms” the answer would be teens, self-important moms who spend too much time online, and teen-moms.
I work the night shift at a rehab center, i like to laugh, I like to watch Teen Mom. I’m getting paid to do it. Moms shouldn’t be overly concerned with the Teen Moms, it’s a silly show! It’s not reality, it never was!
I want to add that there would need to be a corresponding ‘male’ initiative. I know there isn’t a form of birth control for men, at present, that can be enforced at this time… So perhaps we have to raise the stakes for them. 2 unplanned pregnancies that they can not fully provide for, or 2 pregnancies involving unfit mothers, and they will be forced to have ‘the operation’. IE – sterile for life!!!!

Forcing people to undergo sterilisation is no better than barring access to birth control. Women like Sandra Fluke aren’t fighting for universal access to safe, affordable birth control to allow women and couples to make their own reproductive choices so that people who aren’t deemed “fit” can have their tubes tied against their will. Jenelle is more than likely going to continue being a shit mum, but that does NOT mean that she no longer has the right to control what does and doesn’t go on in her own damn uterus.

It’s a drug addict who’s having a mistake-baby. The problems that led to her situation and countless others are not simple. You’re no better than her proposing to mutilate other people’s bodies because you think they aren’t fit to breed. Don’t treat the symptom, eliminate the cause.
I’ve studied sociology for years: when societies get stricter the next step is always to continue getting even more strict. It becomes like anorexia. Finally there is totalitarianism. If we crack down and sterilize Jenelle today, pretty soon our own daughters will be sterilized too for perceived imperfections.
Also, as far as “providing” for children goes, there’s a lot more going on in most cases than Jenelle’s case. What about corporations paying low wages and relying on people’s ability to get medicaid and food stamps to get by? There needs to be systemic change in this country. What about obscenely wealthy individuals and businesses taking great risks which then topple the whole economy and put good people in financial binds in recessions? Shall we just take their kids and give an army of children to Bill Gates?

I understand what you are saying, you’re frustrated with people who continue to have children when they have already proven they aren’t good parents. That’s unfortunate, but that’s what child protective services is for.
I personally think a few dumbasses having kids isn’t as frightening as an entire population of women who can’t make choices about their own bodies.
I am not actually serious, for goodness sakes. The point is that some of these people really should not be in charge of their reproductive health.
But you should research what an FAS child that can not be returned to his family of origin costs society to maintain…

If we had less families to support that simply are not going to improve (read 8, 10, 12 children who are in care, and Mom still has not made any gains), then we would be better able to TRULY help the families willing to improve their situation.
I think court ordered sterilization in very extreme situations could be an option but what you’re implying is outrageous. I agree 100% that SOMETHING needs to be done. Women are so caught up in the “it’s my body so it’s my choice” mindset they are running around heaving all the sex they like adn not thinking of the consequences but your idea takes it to far.
This is America, right? Not some third world country where women have absolutely no right over their reproductive organs. Yeah it irritates me how easily some women who are not good mothers can just easily get pregnant but what you describes is over the top. My friend got her daughter taken away and ended up getting married and having five more kids! She worked her ass off trying to get her daughter back and she got custody back in 2010. Mind you she was 3 years old when she got taken away and shes now 13! Getting custody back once you lose it isn’t so easy.
Yeah I think people would learn how to fake that they are capable, and then once they have the baby it would go to pot and then they’d take the baby away and it would be the State’s and it might not burden (some people’s word) the state any less than children do now (as far as having to be in the system and taken away from their parents.)
Whatever season of Teen Mom 2 this all ends up on with certainly be interesting (5th or 6th season, is my guess). We have Jenelle with a marriage, divorce, pregnancy and heroin addiction. We have Kail who gets married. We have Leah who is pregnant. (Her marriage will be in an earlier season). And we have Adam Lind who’s now ex girlfriend is currently pregnant with his child. All of this happened within the past couple of weeks and the pregnancies are all current. Talk about a ratings boost. SMH.
Oh, and i forgot we also have Corey who is engaged and is getting married apparently really soon. There are also rumors that his fiance is pregnant and it’s a shotgun wedding.
One thing that amazes me is the difference between the Teen Mom and Teen Mom 2 casts. Teen Mom has yet to have any pregnancies or marriages. They only have one engagement, and that’s Catelynn and Tyler who have been together forever, been engaged a long time and aren’t set to marry until next summer.
Then we have the cast of Teen Mom 2. They are all 1-2 years younger than the Teen Mom cast yet there have been a ton of marriages and pregnancies. There is Leah who has been married twice, divorced once and pregnant twice. Corey has been married/divorced and is engaged and possibly expecting another child. Jenelle is married and probably getting divorced plus she’s pregnant. Kail is married. Adam is expecting a second child.
It’s just disturbing to me that the Teen Mom 2 cast is full of marriages, divorces and pregnancies. It’s kind of crazy to think how sane the Teen Mom cast looks next to the Teen Mom 2 cast. Also, as much as Chelsea bothers a lot of fans with her obsession with Adam-at least she doesn’t date a whole bunch of guys and get married/pregnant like everyone else.
Can’t believe that Adam is going to a father again. Who in their right mind after seeing 16 and pregrant and teen mom would think that Adam is a good boyfriend or father. He is freaking crazy I’m not saiding Chelsea is a prize but Adam is a asshole. Hopefully with this baby he changes and become a better father to his new baby. And hoping Chelsea and his ex girlfriend can both allow their kids to see each other and be raise as sibling like that should be. Leah is a mess and she just use that excuse just to drop out which was lame Leah is just going to be a baby maker that is her life goal she going keep getting married. So she does not have to worked she is so lazy and hope her daughters have more ambitions in their life then their mother jenelle is a mess and I’m hoping her pregnancy is a lie for that baby sake.

I never comment on this site but CourtSea has acting in a way that has broken my silence. I’ve been randomly reading these two’s tweets and the videos of stickam sessions… seriously is this real life? Does he think america is that gaulible to believe him? So he supposedly gets caught doing non mononymous things then runs off to “Michigan” but really ended up in a hotel in Cincinatti, And then he gets on the Internet live and kisses whoever and speaking gibberish that I wished I had closed caption for because I can not understand half of what he said. The next day he claims its a fake kiss and he’s going to end his existence? Wow how does Jenelle find these people? If I were her I would move away with her mom and son and just start over. But Jenelle’s personality has almost every characteristic of a social path so sadly this cycle will continue until something earth shattering happens in which causes jenelle to be a decent human being. I can’t really see Chelsea getting along with another of Adam’s girlfriends in order to allow Aubrey to have a relationship with her half sibling. Chelsea would see the other girlfriend as a threat to her chances to reconcile with Adam.
I’m hoping Chelsea would be better than that and do the right thing by Aubree. If the girl is really pregrant and she decide to keep the baby. Hopeful Chelsea and her can be the mature adults allow their kids to see each other because this has nothing to do with Adam. Look at what happen to kail and her half sister they never known about each other and both family’s lie to them which was not nice at all. I think as parent they should put aside their drama for their kids

Courtland will not get alimony. That’s reserved mostly for women and men that give up the opportunity to pursue a career in order to stay home and care for their children. Courtland and Janelle would have had to be married around 10 years, but Alimony has been granted to couples married less time (maybe 5 years at a minimum) in extreme circumstances. Neither C nor J is fit to take care of the new child, but the courts don’t want to take the child away from the mother at that age (because of the bonding process) and usually grant her most of the custody unless they find that she is doing something to harm that particular child. Janelle’s mother also has custody or Jace which means there is a natural sibling in the picture. The courts like siblings to bond also.

As far as Jenelle goes, IMO her behavior has crossed the line from entertaining to just plain sad and frustrating. It’s abundantly clear that whatever mental issues she has are spiraling out of control and that combined with her drug addiction is just a recipe for tragedy. And it’s even worse that a child and potentially another child are involved in her decline. Just sad, sad, sad all-around.
I guess crackland is seeing that “fane” isn’t what it’s “cracked” up to be.

I am happy for Jenelle. She claimed that this pregnancy would give her a “second chance” to demonstrate her responsibility and maturity, so that she can get back Jace. She thought that her marriage and new baby would impress the courts. I think that the courts will learn a great deal from the events of this week. She has grown into a stable relationship with a potantial step father to jace and has begun creating a stable home for jace. The judge will certainly be impressed with her ability to get to the hospital quckly after she has been assaulted by the person she chose to bring into her and jace’s life. They have wisely chosen to use twitter to inform the world of every development in their charmed relationship. The court will certainly be able to learn everything they need to make its decision as to whether to give Jace back to Jenelle.
I was so baffled with the way Jenelle was fighting with Amber this week. SO immature. Giggling and laughing in the bedroom, randomly yelling out bitchy comments. I was just baffled. Not sure how old she was in this episode, 19 or 20? Regardless, she’s too old to act like that. I stopped fighting with my friends like that when I was in junior high. Time to start learning how to resolve a fight like an adult and deal with the confrontation instead of giggling from your bedroom.
This explains so much about the drama with the rest of her friendships, relationships, engagements, fiances, etc.
Also she just wants to have a power-trip or something… Amber was outside smoking and said “I’ll give you your hoodie when I’m done” and Jenelle was like “NO I want it NOW”. There’d be nothing wrong with waiting a few more minutes… but Jenelle wanted to be in control I guess. Thankfully Amber was the bigger person and just took it off then to shut her up. It reminded me of when Jenelle & Tori were living together and Jenelle was SCREAMING for Tori to give her stuff back. Tori was like “it’s in my room, give me 2 minutes and I’ll go gather it and bring it to you”… which was PERFECTLY reasonable… but Jenelle was like “NO I want it NOW” and trying to force her way into Tori’s room… which I’m not complaining too much about. It created one of the most hilarious physical confrontations we’ve ever had on the show! Tori-Jenelle-Kieffer-dogpile!
That’s the problem with Jenelle. She simply has not matured past the 7th grade, mentally or emotionally.
She cannot argue with anyone without it being a huge, unnecessary production that winds up with her needing to have the last word, at any cost (a la pressing charges on Kieffer, Gary, Courtland, Hannah, etc).
Whenever she’s forced to have a civil discussion with someone (Dr. Drew, for instance), she’s merely regurgitating things she knows people want to hear from her or what she’s “supposed” to do, when it’s clear by her actions that she has no intention of doing anything of the sort (e.g., getting Jace back).

To be embarrassed means you have to care a little bit about what others think about you. Jenelle certainly doesn’t have any self-awareness so no, I’m sure she’s not embarrassed haha.

Across the internet I have been reading comments from people who think that people like Jenelle should be sterlized and these commenters come up with systems as to how to establish such a system.
While I am also dismayed at the spike in population from parents who do not have the mental skills, discipline or ability to raise the children they have, I also realize that this is in reality impossible. I think that the movie, Idiocracy, hit the nail right on the head about how our society encourages the least fit to reproduce at the highest rate and that the consequences of this reality are horrifying. I often think taht certain people should be sterlized, but then I realize that forced sterilization and other eugenics programs have a terrible track record.
Nazi germany and the PR China have been involved with sterlization, and the whole world has condemned these programs (with good reason). In the early 20th century, the United States was also a leading proponent of forced sterlizations, and there are lots of books about the problems that these programs caused and the unjustness that they engendered. Although it sounds great to be able to step in and stop undesirables from reproducing, the practical problems of establishing and managing these types of programs are impossible to overcome. Who gets to decide when someone is not worthy of having more children? Where do we draw the lines? It sounds great in theory to be able to do this, but in reality it is a horrible human rights abuse. As a nation that allegedly cherishes our freedoms, we cannot start implementing forced sterlization programs.

I liked season 1 of teen mom, and never missed an episode, teen mom 2 i getting to the point that it is hard to even watch. they are all either on one end of the spectrum or the other, either boring to the point of tears or melodramatic to the point of suicide. they are all spoiled and all need to learn to grow up a little bit. if they were all really doing it not to glamorize teen pregnancy then they wouldn’t be taking pay checks. none of them provide anything for society.

WHY DOES SHE STILL HAVE A TWITTER????? If I was her lawyer, and she was claiming physical abuse to her and her unborn child, I wouldn’t be able to close down her account fast enough. If Courtland can prove he did not hit her, or if he gets together with Jenelle’s other exes, and they testify that she falsely accused them also, can he sue her or charge her with criminal charges? What would he be entitled to?
He doesn’t have to prove that he didn’t hit her, she has to prove that he did. If that makes sense? The onus is on her to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that he hit her. If she took him to court and the jury was in doubt over whether he did -and let’s face it, anyone would be- then he walks free. And yes, if acquitted he can absolutely sue her for defamation amongst other things.
Watch some court shows lol and it will make perfect sense what Garcia says. Jenelle is the plantiff and she has the burden of proving that he hit her. Now if it comes out that his charges get dismissed because she is a liar then Courtland can sue her in civil court. He can only sue for the state maximum of $5,000.

Here in Australia we have a charge that can be laid where someone who continually tries to bring lawsuits to court deliberately to get revenge on someone is deemed a vexatious litigant. If you’re considered to be one of these by the justice system it essentially means that you aren’t allowed to bring any further legal action. Slap that shit down on Jenelle and watch her shrivel up like a piece of roast goat.

- Courtland is addicted to opiates and and publicly commited adultery.
Moral of the story, if you’re going to attempt to humiliate your spouse, don’t do it on a public internet stream or while taking drugs.

While it is wrong of anyone to cry wolf about something as serious as suicide, it’s more wrong for us to casually dismiss it like this. Sure, we all believe Courtland is saying this to get attention (and aside from that being an issue in itself) but it should not be joked about and made light. If he wasn’t truly feeling suicidal, then I hope he’s ashamed of himself for faking it, but if he truly was, I hope he seeks help for it. Either way, it really isn’t our place to be making light of something as serious as suicide. Tomorrow is the seven year mark of when a friend of mine committed suicide; perhaps if all comments were taken more seriously, or at the very least, not mocked, we could begin working toward lowering our rate of suicide.

I had a miscarriage and it wasn’t some massive amount of blood…
I never bled a lot with either of my miscarriages and similarly, I bled A LOT during my pregnancy with my oldest and did not miscarry. So who really knows.

Medical professionals would never be allowed to comment (confidentiality) whether Jenelle had ever been pregnant to begin with, BUT wouldn’t they be able to hold her for evaluation based on everything that has been in the press?
