Farrah Waxes Sophia’s Apparent Unibrow

farrah-sulia

SOOOoooooo this is a touchy subject, but when is a good time to tell someone that every time they write a post, it somehow makes them look worse than the previous post?  Of course, some can say that about my blog posts, and I’m not sure I’d disagree, but let’s focus on Farrah for now.

Apparently it was time to talk about the touchy subject nobody was really thinking, and that is Sophia’s unibrow.  Let’s see if I can find a recent picture…

bertportrait

Oh jeez, that is bad.   Nevermind, that’s just Bert.  Ahh, here we go….

shefsophia

Hmm… yea, so that’s the cute little Sophia we’ve seen for years on Teen Mom.  The three year old who Farrah has been shamelessly exploiting since the moment she saw two stripes on her pregnancy test.

Keep in mind, this is the same Farrah who (drunkenly?) went off recently on how people should love their natural bodies while glossing over the $20k she dropped down to make her body anything but natural.   I guess it’s now time for Sophia to get a complex about her eyebrows so she’ll constantly be worried about hairs growing in the middle of them… starting at the age of 3!!  3!!!

I am typically not one of those armchair parents who think they know everything there is to know about parenting (I don’t).   Keeping her pacifier in for as long as she did was not a natural emergency, or another mom letting their kid play in a dog cage didn’t ruin my day.  Is eyebrow waxing a good idea at the age of 3?  I don’t know the answer to that, but I’m going to guess it’s not really required, especially when it’s not really that noticeable or bad.   Again, we’re not talking about Bert here, this is a little girl who has slightly darker eyebrows than typical kids

What’s worse is that somewhere in Farrah’s head, she actually is proud of her accomplishment and felt the need to brag about it on the little speaking outlet Sulia gave to her.  What is there really to be proud of?  That you plucked hair from a sleeping kid?  That you were able to teach Sophia an early life lesson about having a complex over a body part?  Or that you’ll still be able to exploit her for any bit of cash you can while people still remember you are around.

I want to know who gave Farrah the brilliant idea to join Sulia. I don’t know whether or not to thank them since we get these gems now or if i want to murder them.

Also, can we send Farrah back to 3rd grade and give her some grammar/spelling lessons?

    • avatar Sir Nibs says:

Farrah is taking a beating here because of this situation but I applaud her. She is addressing a VERY important topic for all women, regardless of age. HAIRY BODIES. Now, we no longer live in caves and we also know the ONLY hair on a women should be head and eye brows, period. Hair anywhere else is just, I don’t know, icky. So, with only two acceptable places to sport hair on a women, and one of them on little Sophia”s was a little “out of control” she cleaned in up a bit. Good job Farrah, you young role model to today’s youth!

      • avatar Courtland's meth scabs says:

Not sure if sarcastic, serious or just stupid.

        • avatar Sir Nibs says:

Serious as a heart attack Sasquatch.

      • avatar Natalia says:

As a former “Sasquatch,” as you’ve worded it, I can assure you body hair doesn’t dictate the happiness and well being of a child. Farrah is a terrible person for plucking those few hairs off of Sophia’s brow and has now made her daughter aware that there is something wrong with her and needs to be corrected.
What’s next, a bikini wax for her or a chin and breast implants to match mommy?

      • avatar Shannon says:

I am 100% sure this 3 year old girl has hair on her legs. Is she suppose to shave her legs, Sir?

      • avatar pinejelly says:

If that is how you really think, it is pretty safe to say you may have pedophilic tendencies. It is NOT normal to think this way.

        • avatar Sir Nibs says:

What are you talking about Wooly Mammoth? The war is over hippie, our side won. Get with the program fur burger. The 70’s called, they want their pelt back. Gross

          • avatar Anne-Marie says:

hahahahahaha I’m preeeeeetty sure Sir Nibs is pulling your leg, guys.

  2. avatar Sarah M says:

What…the…fuck… She actually pulled them put while she was sleeping??? Anyone else super creeped out and disgusted by this???

    • avatar Adi says:

Yup, I am too. I don’t know what planet she lives on.

  3. avatar Yappy says:

I want to know how much she got paid for the 4 likes and 37 comments on just this sulia post, plus the money for the clicks. I know you get paid by clicks on the links they post, but i’ve also heard you receive extra commission based on the amount of likes/comments you receive on your sulia posts :/

    • avatar A says:

      I believe it’s 5 cents per click

      • avatar lex says:

That would be way too much. Ads haul in about 5 cents per 100 clicks, so I guess that’s what she earns.

        • avatar Lisa says:

It is 5 cents per click on Sulia.

          • avatar lex says:

I wonder what their business model is… they must be making lots in some other way if they can afford to pay an attention seeking dingbat like Farrah 5 cents per click!

  4. avatar Kaylee says:

What the hell is wrong with this girl? It’s one thing for her to have body image issues, but now she’s projecting them on poor Sophia.

  5. avatar Jessica says:

Farrah did this for Farrah not Sophia. Farrah is all about image and attention I could see Farrah putting Sophia in modeling or acting just so Farrah can get attention. Farrah would be a stage mom the fact that she think it was okay using hot wax on a three year old face. Is creep she could have burn Sophia or the hot wax could of fall in Sophia eye. Farrah is a mess and sad she is so desperate for attention she is just doing and saying anything just to get attention from media.

  6. avatar A says:

Lol well her posts are laughable simply because she isn’t great at communicating either verbally or through written word. Especially written word :p dat illiteracy.

I don’t think she’s as awful as she & others maker her seem. I think she tries hard lately to portray herself as a good mom and a good person, and she is those things. She just has to fight against her attitude issues with her family that we saw on MTV (which no one should be 100% defined by. I wouldn’t want to be), along with her terrible attempts at trying to represent herself. Girl needs a manager!

She’s not perfect, no one is. she’s not awful either. There’s much more awful people out there who do way more awful things. Her intentions are good, though sometimes ignorant and misguided. That’s also better than a lot of people. Personally I don’t think this unibrow waxing thing is a huge deal but when it comes to the internet and public figures, I’m sure she’ll be burned at the stake. So let’s watch the discussion roll!

    • avatar A says:

I love how a comment offering some positivity gets the most downvotes :p

Choose positivty people! Kindness is easier than hate.

      • avatar morons says:

naw it’s pretty easy to hate Farrah.

    • avatar Adi says:

I see your point but I think it is a big deal as Farrah is projecting her own issues onto Sophia. Sophia is going to have her own stuff to deal with growing up, but because of Farrahs self esteem issues she could end up totally screwed up. As a mother I want to protect my daughter from as many negative emotions/experiences as I can as who knows what life will throw at her later on? Farrah has done the opposite and exposed her to these at a ridiculously young age. Sophia shouldn’t have to worry about ANYTHING at her age, especially not what her eyebrows look like. I doubt she was even aware of them till now.

    • avatar Lisa says:

She doesn’t need a manager, she needs an adult. This girl is too insecure with her own life to raise a healthy, well-adjusted daughter.

  7. avatar Courtland's meth scabs says:

She EASILY could have slipped and accidentally dripped hot fking wax in her daughter mouth, eye, ear, etc!!!

She is as stupid as Jenelle, in all honesty.

She is also the biggest hypocrite I’ve seen in recent years…

    • avatar A says:

I was reading comments about this @ wetpaint and others were mentioning the “hot wax” as well. Maybe I have tough skin but I find “hot wax” to just be “warm” and kind of soothing… nothing burning?

Though I agree with what you’re saying, Sophia is too young for it and even though mom might say “stay still, close your eyes”… toddlers don’t always get the importance of that lol and could move and knock moms hand or something. Farrah should have waited a few years for this.

      • avatar Courtland's meth scabs says:

I got my legs waxed once and was burned by the beauty tech… Haven’t done it since… But this was like 15 years ago… Has wax gotten less BURNING hot? If so, I’m making an appointment!

        • avatar A says:

Maybe it has haha you never know. I definitely find it “warm” and quite soothing and relaxing actually from that warm feeling.

          • avatar Lisa says:

The point is that Farrah isn’t an aesthetician. She doesn’t know the proper temperature to heat it to, even though she may wax her own eyebrows. A 3 year old’s skin is more sensitive than an adult’s, and even if it is just warm it will still hurt Sophia if she gets it in her eye. Not to mention the psychology of telling your 3 year old that some part of her body is so wrong that it needs to be fixed…

        • avatar The UNI-Brow Farrah killed says:

The wax temperature depends on how long you heat it up. If you heat it too much and do not let it cool it can and will burn the shiz out of you. It’s not safe on a toddler period. Just watch the episode of the Kardashians where Kourtney waxes Khloe’s wooha and burns it. That show can actually be educational ;)

      • avatar Sally says:

A toddlers skin is far more sensitive then an adult. What may be “warm” to us could easily leave welts and burn a child.

  8. avatar Khloe says:

if i had a daughter i would never ever do this to her. farrah is the most superficial person i have ever seen and it’s so sad that this trait will most likely be passed to sophia. i had my eyebrows waxed for the first time as a teenager because i wanted to and my mom agreed to it and she took me to a salon to get it done. i can’t believe farrah did this to sophia at all, but the fact she did it herself also disgusts me. she’s messing with sophia’s sensitive skin. at that age she could do some damage!

  9. avatar Emilee says:

I really wanna say, “I hate Farrah and I hope she dies.” But I won’t do that…. It’s rude.

    Oops…. :)

  10. avatar Emilee says:

I don’t actually want her to die but this kills me that she is doing this to Sophia. She is just setting Sophia up for failure! Poor little girl. She should think she is the most beautiful thing in the world.

Lets hope to god if Farrah does have another baby it’s not born with a birth defect or something like that. While most moms would love their baby unconditionally I don’t think Farrah would. :(

    • avatar A says:

I don’t think Farrah did it because she was disappointed in Sophia and didn’t love her or accept her for who she was…

Farrah explained that she had a unibrow herself as a young girl. She didn’t want Sophia to deal with what she did. If Sophia has a unibrow, it’s MUCH better for mom to address it with love and in a positive environment than for her to go to school and have children bully her about it. THAT is what will affect Sophia’s self esteeem. Farrah wanted to protect her from that.

This is what I mean about Farrah’s intentions being in the right place, but she’s too ignorant to execute it properly. She definitely should have waited a few years first. Sophia isn’t in school yet for kids to be mean abuot it, and her skin will be less sensitive when she gets to school-age.

      • avatar Khloe says:

i understand what you’re saying, but farrah didn’t do this to prevent bullying. she straight up said part of the reason she did it was because other people told her the hair would not fall out and she is concerned. farrah did this 100 % per cent because she didn’t like her child having a trait that is considered “ugly” by society.

i don’t know whether there are any basketball fans on this site but the #1 pick in the nba draft this year Anthony Davis has a HUGE unibrow and he’s embraced it and is making money off it.

        • avatar Khloe says:

          sorry for the % sign.

  11. avatar lex says:

This girl (woman?) is dumb, superficial and cannot spell.
unless your kid looks like this: http://simpsons.wikia.com/wiki/Gerald_Samson leave the eyebrows the f*ck alone!

    • avatar Courtland's meth scabs says:

      Holy shit, it’s Sophia!

  12. avatar Mel says:

I really didn’t even notice that she had a uni-brow! It’s crazy she would do that to her toddler, I mean toddlers have sensitive skin, she could have easily torn poor Sophia’s skin. I bet she didn’t even think about that! She’s so caught up in vanity, a happy 3 year old wouldn’t even notice they had something ‘wrong’ with their appearance, they’d be too busy being a care free child! Why would she allow her daughter to have a complex from such a young age. Farrah needs serious mental help.

  13. avatar chrissy says:

I never even noticed a unibrow on her, it must not have been that bad. I honestly dont think Farrah is a horrible mom, there are worse ones out there (Jenelle) ha! But she does make stupid decisions alot of the time which then do affect those around her, so thats not too great of her, i think she just needs some better guidance, you have to remember she is a young single mother. i think the fact that shes alone has alot to do with her actions alot of the time. I know its kind of sad to bring up but sometimes i wonder how much different she would be if Derek were still alive and they had their little fairy tale life like she had wanted.

    • avatar morons says:

being a young single mom is no excuse for beign a crappy one.

  14. avatar Juanita says:

So, I went around Farrah’s twitter and for a while, I saw no unibrow until finally, it was there in a close up picture. I asked my mom simply ‘If I had a unibrow when I was three would you have plucked it?’ My mom said yes. GASP. Is she a horrible mom? Hell no. My cousin had a unibrow for six months as a two year old before my Aunt plucked it. Is she a bad mom? No. Just cause this is Farrah, it’s a big deal. Had she not posted the article, would you have noticed? I wouldn’t have, that’s for sure. If this was Chelsea plucking Aubree’s unibrow, would this be a big deal? Probably not. In fact, I’m sure some would agree for the simple sake that Chelsea is somehow more loveable to most, when in really she annoys the hell out of me. But that’s another story..

    • avatar chrissy says:

haha i agree with Chelsea being annoying, like the way she talks is irritating, she drags out her words in a whiny voice, cant stand that..Shes like Ohhh my Gaaawwddd!! Adaaaaaaaammm!!! lol

    • avatar A says:

Perfectly said. People lose all context and perspective when it comes to public figures. It’s ridiculous lol. I try to think of stuff like this and other “controversial” things and think about if someone in my life did or said that. If I’m being REAL about it, I realize it would be like a 1/10 on the big deal scale.

      • avatar Adi says:

Well that’s your opinion but if someone I knew told me they were thinking of waxing or tweezing their three year olds eyebrows I’d tell them it was a ridiculous idea. Until Sophia is aware enough of it herself to ask for something to be done about it she’s too young. Maybe its not a big deal to you but I would never ever do that to my child, so my reaction is nothing to do with her being a public figure, I’d feel exactly the same if someone I knew personally did it.

        • avatar A says:

and this is also what people say when I mention that that’d react differently :p they go “um no I would react the same way if it were somebody I actually knew!”

          You wouldn’t. You really wouldn’t.

          • avatar Adi says:

If someone went near my daughter with hot wax or tweezers I’d knock them the fuck out. So um, yes, I would react like that and I wasn’t aware that someone I don’t know who probably lives in a different country from me has any idea about how I react to things.

    • avatar Khloe says:

if chelsea did this to aubree i would think chelsea has issues too. and i don’t know how old you are but maybe when you and your cousin were that age things were different. there’s many things back then that were acceptable that aren’t now. and every time you see a pampers or huggies or johnsons commercial or advertisement they always go over how babies and toddlers have extremely delicate skin and need the special products. i’d bet money that in a few months farrah will be developing her own line of toddler sensitive eyebrow wax. sad.

      • avatar Juanita says:

We’re both twenty. & I mention my cousin cause like me she’s half mexican, but her Dad has thicker hair than my dad does, like arm hair wise and she was born with some thick hair. I know some people wouldn’t agree with me, and that’s okay. I’m just saying that’s how I see it.

  15. avatar Megan G says:

Someone’s 15 mins of fame is running out..seems like she will do anything to keep people talking about her..at least I hope that is the case..sigh!

  16. avatar Agnes says:

Sorry for the off topic, but did anybody else notice how old is this ‘news’?
Recently I have an impression it’s like: something happens -> twitter -> starcasm -> teenmomtalk.com -> alltheteenmoms.com -> 2 weeks and ‘news’ gets old, everybody forgets about it -> teenmomjunkies.com.

I know that TMJ writers also write about every other show in the world. But sometimes when they ‘break the news’ a week or two after every other site I just wonder… why bother?

    • avatar Lisa says:

So the writers here have actual *gasp* LIVES? Go elsewhere if you don’t like this site.

      • avatar Courtland's meth scabs says:

I couldn’t agree more! I’m so sick of the holier-than-thou attitudes of people who post here and bitch about “old news”. I’m thankful the bloggers here have outside lives. How creepy and weird is it that the bloggers for Teen Mom Talk and All The Teen Moms wake up every morning and DO NOTHING BUT TALK ABOUT TEEN MOM? Literally, their entire lives have been swallowed up by a reality series that they aren’t even a part of. It’s such a sad and pathetic attempt to try and be BFF’s of the moms… It’s why they delete comments that trash talk the moms…

It’s actually really fucked up to be so desperate for fame, that you write “news stories” about people you don’t even know and will never actually meet, all day, every day, in hopes of becoming famous through association…. It’s as stupid as Courtland and his “alnost fanous” tattoo

        • avatar Chelah says:

Preach on sister (or brother). Seriously, these people bitch when they dont post stories and still have something to bitch about when they DO post stories. If you don’t like the way they’re handling this, then Stay off this site and don’t comment. What a novel idea..

    • avatar ncj says:

teenmomtalk.com is just as slow on news. & some people dont like those sites so just visit this one. The people who write for this site do have lives. So I dont think it matters when they get the “news” out.

    • avatar A says:

Everyone else is writing about this at the same time… it hasn’t even been covered @ alltheteenmoms.com yet

    • avatar Khloe says:

this news is a few days old at best. and if you skip down a couple articles they already covered this news just not with this much detail.
and they do it because they have people who enjoy commenting. i don’t even come to this site for the news i come for the comments and to share my opinion. if you want useless random news then go to TMT, she will share ANYTHING about the girls, even the most boring details.

    • avatar stevebeans says:

In addition to having lives, I generally don’t like rushing out and ‘breaking’ stories because a portion of the time people just get wrong information and look like assholes because of it.

Sites that rush out and post stories either need clicks for sulia, want to be the first to kiss ass and get retweeted by the moms or post any possible rumor just to get traffic.

We post stories that we find interesting or news worthy, and tell it the way we see it.

In addition, our target audience aren’t the fans who stare at twitter 24/7 and retweet the latest bullshit tweet from Maci or Leah in order to kiss their ass and be recognized by them. Our audience are people who like the show for the unintentional humor it provides and those who like to roll their eyes at how serious the moms think they are.

      • avatar Sarah says says:

First off Stevebeans and Melinda, you guys are awesome. I don’t even watch the show anymore but I still come here for a laugh. Keep doin’ what you’re doin’.

Secondly, I am a twitter rookie but what the hell is with people tweeting these ‘Z-list’ celebrities and asking for retweets? Maybe I am missing the point but tweeting Maci saying ‘omg I’ve tried 10 trillion times and all I do all day is try to get a retweet from you Maci, I would just like die like omgz, please that’s all I want for Christmas’ has got to be the most pathetic thing I’ve ever seen.

        Do. Not. Get. It.

      • avatar Melissa says:

+1 some people have lives ya know!

  17. avatar Megs says:

It’s not so much an issue that she chose to do this (I personally wouldn’t unless my child asked me to), it’s that Sophia “freaked out” and Farrah continued on, determined that her adorable child would look exactly the way she wanted her to. It’s the same BS the pageant moms on Toddlers & Tiaras pull. If your child doesn’t like doing something that may cause physical pain (I hate getting my eyebrows waxed), DON’T DO IT. If Sophia were laughing and enjoying the process, different story. This is Farrah’s world, though…we all just live in it. Sorry, Sophia.

  18. avatar Stacey says:

The problem I have with the whole thing is that Farrah is projecting her insecurities & self esteem issues onto her toddler. A 3 year old should not even be aware of what their eyebrows look like they should be outside playing & getting dirty & having fun. It starts with the eyebrows & then it will be her teeth, her weight, her hair etc etc.. If 12 years from now we hear of Sophia having an eating disorder or something, I for one will not be surprised!

    • avatar Kelly says:

I think she will follow in the footsteps of her mother. One day, she will be disrepecting Farrah, getting plastic surgery, going to a therapist, etc. You reap what you sow.

  19. avatar haha says:

Um… there are no words for this… just wow.

  20. avatar Sally says:

My daughter is 6 and has quite the unibrow because she is half Hispanic and I would never in a million years wax it. Furthermore, she has no clue unless I brought it to her attention which I would never do. At least not at this age. That is just asking for insecurities. My daughter has however noticed the dark hair on her back and she jokes that it matches daddy’s and her little brothers. One day when she is a teen or maybe preteen and it becomes an issue we will visit ways to remove it. But until then I will not bring attention to it. By the way, I do take my daughter with me sometimes when I get my eyebrows waxed. She doesn’t know why I do it. She just knows its something that adults do.

    • avatar morons says:

looks like you’ve done a great job raising her. A kid that young with great self esteem like that is something for the parents to be proud of.

    • avatar A says:

Hopefully kids don’t make fun of her for it at school. That might start soon.

      • avatar Sally says:

Well considering we live in south Texas just about every child has one. I also send her to private school so bullying and teasing over such nonsense isn’t such an issue.

        • avatar Sarah :) says:

I live in South Texas (the Valley). I haven’t seen THAT many people with uni-brows. Idk where you live. Lol.

      • avatar Adi says:

@A do you have children? Just curious…

      • avatar pinejelly says:

If any kids do make fun of Sally’s daughter, it will because they have superficial parents like A. as role models.

  21. avatar K_eliii says:

My main issue here is that it does come down to how Farrah sees Sophia. The unibrow was NOT that noticable. If Farrah indeed wanted to “clean up” the unibrow, she could have gone to a professional and ask what could be done. End of the day, Farrah will find something wrong on Sophia & bring it up to her attention and not in a loving way. We’ve all seen how Farrah talks to Sophia so just imagine how she came about her unibrow. Soon it’ll be her smile, then her nose, her hair being curly or its color…etc. Farrahs going to ruin this little girls self esteem before she even starts Pre-K.!

    • avatar Sarah M says:

High-pitched annoying baby talk Farrah voice: “So, like, Pooky-Schmooky… you have these lil hairies that are ugly and we need to get rid of them! That way..you can look pretty like mommy! Now hold still…”

      it’s just sickening!!

  22. avatar Jenelle's track marks says:

The bigger are more difficult life lesson here would have been to raise Sophia to accept her natural self, kinda like that last post, but Farrah wouldn’t be Farrah without hypocrisy!

This brings to mind a recent blowout on reddit, where someone posted a candid pic of a Sikh college girl who had prominent facial hair. He was probably posting with the intention of making fun of her, but she caught wind of what had happened and had the most eloquent, mature and beautiful response to him. You can read it here: http://www.cbc.ca/news/yourcommunity/2012/09/bearded-sikh-woman-teaches-reddit-a-lesson.html

It totally shut him up, too.

The day Farrah displays levels of acceptance and tolerance akin to this woman is the day I become Courtland’s next baby mamma.

    • avatar Khloe says:

off topic but are you canadian or did you just use a canadian news site. didn’t know they were other canadians on here that’s all :)

      • avatar Jenelle's track marks says:

Nope, not Canadian! Just grabbed the best article, so props to your country’s journalism ;)

      • avatar A says:

Plenty of Canadians watch Teen Mom and I’m sure there’s lots of others on this site. I’m Canadian!

  23. avatar sierra says:

She calls it Uni.. And capitilizes the U in it every time she mentions it…WTF

  24. avatar Leah is unbeWEAVEable says:

This is absolutely disgusting. |Teaching children to have self-confidence is what needs to be promoted and not to be so preoccupied with societal expectations of “beauty” on a toddler. I suffered with confidence issues all through my youth and when I stared to love myself and being okay with not spending hours getting ready I became much happier. Instead of sitting like a weirdo beside her bed plucking her eyebrows and trying to be real stealth about it, Farrah should have taken that time to cuddle her daughter, read to her, or tell her she loved her. This screams, “you’re not good enough” – that’s the message Farrah is sending, and I really don’t give a rat’s *** if she showed Sofia how “well she did” when she woke up, she wasn’t even conscious you moron.

  25. avatar KB says:

I didn’t think it was possible to be even more disgusted with Farrah than I already was, but she’s proven me wrong. Poor little Sophia. It seems like she’s in for a life full of insecurities and low self-esteem all because her ridiculously idiotic mother can’t STFU. Should waxing a three-year-old’s alleged unibrow really be at the top of Farrah’s priority list?

I don’t usually post on these things at all, but I felt I can put my two cents in, if no one minds.

It was stupid for her to do what she did to Sophia. The girl is far too you’d to be put through the pain of wax and tweezers. I’m almost 21 and I still can’t stand when my mom, a licensed cosmetologist, has to do it on me every 3 weeks or so. I definitely am against this.

What I find funny is that I want to see what Farrah will do when she sees that the more it gets plucked/waxed, the thicker and darker the hair grows. Good luck to her lol

I thought that only happened when you shaved it…..

Does your confidence and self worth feel damaged because your mother makes you feel like she “has to” pluck your eyebrows every three weeks? That’s the important issue here.

      • avatar Adi says:

At 21 I think she was old enough to ask her mother to do it which is what everyone has been saying.

Lmao did anyone else think it was odd in Farrah’s post how she said “Finally Sophia woke up and I went to sleep”. Uhh…

    • avatar JNV says:

lol I noticed that too….I’m confused

I`m surprised actually that Farrah isn`t on Toddlers and tiaras yet .

I would like to see Farrah fall into a cart of cow poop.

Look, I don;t know these girls and I refuse to comment on someone’s parenting by what they write on the internet or what TV edits us to see for ratings. But what I do know is that this experience with Sophia could have been a great learning experience for Farrah to teach her daughter about being “different” and acceptance of other people’s differences. I highly doubt anyone made fun of Sophia (expect maybe adults amongst themselves, but that’s a whole different topic of insanity) and frankly should have not been something that Farrah decided to do for her daughter. If Sophia came home from school and said ” The other kids tease me about this” then a discussion could be had and Farrah could instill positive values into Sophia and let her make the choice. But in this instance, it was about FARRAH and what she thinks of her child or what she thinks other people will think of her child and the reflection of that back on herself. I don’t understand, when are these young mothers are going to realize that it’s not about them, it’s not about what people think of them, it’s about raising self assured, well adjusted, happy children above everything else?

farrah just posted that waxing sophia’s eyebrows is basic hygiene. UM WHAT?

bathing/showering, brushing your teeth, combing your hair, wearing deoderant etc etc. that is hygiene. farrah is bricks if she thinks waxing your eyebrows is hygiene. it is definitely considered personal maintenance but not hygiene. and she goes on to basically make every parent who disagrees with the waxing that we are unfit parents because we don’t up keep our children’s hygiene. wtf.

I think Madonna’s daughter, Lourdes, looked unique and quite pretty before she plucked her unibrow. For sure an interesting and striking look. She is still pretty, just not as unique looking. And even though the girl was constantly photographed by the paparazzi, madonna obviously didn’t make her pluck it. It seems she let it be Lourdes’ choice.

If I was Sophia, I would plot my own kidnapping. I wonder what Derek would say if he could see how Farrah was raising their daughter. I wonder what his family say.

  34. avatar oyyy says:

    Sophia looks just like Debra.

  35. avatar Kelly says:

Is it possible Chelsea is doing it too?
Aubree used to have a unibrow and not anymore…

Is there a reason her shirt says “Shef”? She has a degree in culinary arts how can she not spell chef correctly?

I think it’s because Sophia starts with ‘s’. Or it could just be that Farrah is a total idiot. Either way.
